ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Next Step provides immediate bedside support for people who have experienced violent injury and continues working with participants after they leave the hospital.
Support may include safety planning, housing, education, employment, mental-health services, court advocacy, crime-victim resources and basic needs. Current UYC referral or participation details are confirmed directly with UYC.
